Development Coach – Housing Shire (part-time)

Role Title: Youth Housing Development Coach

Team: Foyer Youth Housing

Salary: £24,004 - £26,421 (full-time equivalent, depending on experience)

Working hours: 20 hrs per week

Location: Inverurie and surrounding areas, involves outreach support across local communities requiring clean UK driving license and access to vehicle.

This is a mobile role across Aberdeenshire and not office based. While you will have the support of colleagues in the Housing team and across the wider Foyer via Microsoft Teams, this role predominately involves lone working in young people’s homes.

Why? We believe no young person should experience homelessness and if they do, it is rare, brief, and non-recurrent. This role demands a youth centred approach that supports choice and positive transitions to adulthood.

What? Work with a caseload of young people aged between 16 and 25 who have experienced or are at risk of homelessness to manage their tenancy, live independently and access the resources they need to thrive.
