About The King’s Trust Team Programme

The King’s Trust Team (formerly known as The Prince’s Trust Team) is a unique development opportunity for people aged between 16 and 25. On the Programme participants develop confidence, motivation and skills through individual challenges and a community project. Participants come from different backgrounds, have different abilities and interests. Over the 12-week course they are supported in developing core skills, building confidence and gaining nationally recognised qualifications.  

King’s Trust Team is a 12-week course that:

  • Is for anyone between the age of 16 & 25 not in education or employment 


  • Uncovers hidden talents and improves confidence 


  • Won’t cost anything, and no lose to benefits 


  • Helps participants gain new skills and qualifications 


  • Meet new people and make new friends

The programme has 4 key stages: 

  • Induction and residential team building 

  • Community project 

  • Team challenge 

  • Final review and presentation 

What the King’s Trust Team Programme involves:

Weeks 7 & 8 – Work Placement
Week 9 – Next Steps
Week 10 & 11 – Team Challenge
