Aberdeen Foyer featured in ‘We Can End Homelessness’, Prince William’s documentary exploring first year of Homewards programme

HRH The Prince of Wales’ Homewards programme was launched in June 2023 and the Prince, together with local coalitions, together with their bid partners across six locations, have been working tirelessly to demonstrate it is possible to end homelessness in the UK.

A two-part documentary series has been created of the first 12 months of the project, following HRH on his ambitions journey. The documentary explores his personal motivation to solve homelessness in the UK while also hearing from people with lived experience.

We are beyond proud to say Aberdeen Foyer is also featured in the film, in the form of our Development Coach Lori and our previous tenant Philip. They travelled down to London for the premiere and are looking forward to seeing what others make of the documentary produced by Mindhouse and directed by Leo Burley.

The first part of the series will air 30 Oct, at 9pm on STV in Scotland and on ITV across the UK. The second part will air on Thursday at the same time. The two-part documentary will be available on Disney Plus 1 November.
