Join Us in Celebrating the Vinery's 2nd Birthday

Our Grow at the Vinery Project is two years old in August! We celebrated the first birthday with a Family Fun Day and had a record amount of people come visit the Vinery, even though the weather wasn’t on our side then, we hope it will be on the 17th of August.

The Vinery Birthday event this year takes place as part of a weekend of celebrations to mark 200 years since General Joe de San Martin was made a Freeman of the Royal Burgh of Banff including events at Duff House, Museum of Banff and Banff Castle.Banff will also welcome visitors from South America to mark the occasion. You can learn more about the General’s time in Banff in 1824 on the Vinery’s website: https://www.growatthevinery.co.uk/newsandblog/the-vinerys-2nd-birthday-carnival

The Family Fun Day, 17 August, will feature crafts stalls, local organisations, artists, games, face painting, taster Argentine food and guided walks of Banff with a ‘Banff 1824 Map’ and will attract visitors across town and Aberdeenshire.

The preparations for the day are well underway but need the support of our community to get over the line. Sponsoring the event will provide opportunities to work with the Vinery in different ways and to be seen at the event and before.

Contact The Vinery Project manager clare.bancroft@aberdeenfoyer.comif you want to be part of making this day a success!
